About the Role As a User Experience Researcher, you'll join a team dedicated to conducting user research for global projects. You'll work closely with other researchers, product developers, designers, and engineers to plan and execute research studies.You'll identify the needs of the team and craft research studies that help them make data-informed decisions. You'll push yourself to apply a lean and impactful research approach and you'll report on your observations and insights in useful ways that facilitate action. Specific responsibilities include: Determine and recommend the most efficient and effective user-centered research approaches to solve for business needs, meet agreed-upon objectives, and guide business areas through the appropriate UX process. Synthesize quantitative and qualitative data to help drive product and design decisions. Work collaboratively with user experience team members, content writers, development teams, product teams, users, and other stakeholders as part of an agile software development process. Create written reports of insights and observations. Conduct literature reviews and synthesize. Assist withdiscoveryand foundationalresearch activities to inform UX design decisions. Assist in developinguser journeys and personas. Take ownership for self-development, stay current with research techniques and tools in the field of UX. Be a self-starter. Take initiatives anddriveassignedprojects from beginning to end. About You You are a fit for the role of User Experience Researcher if you have: Bachelor's degree or higher in a field such as Cognitive Psychology, Human-Computer Interaction, User Experience, Human Factors, Engineering Psychology, Interactive Design, or equivalent. 2+ years'experience conductingUX research. Experience withapplying researchmethods including but not limited to usability studies, contextual inquiry, and surveys. Strong understanding of the strengths and shortcomings of different research methods, including when and how to apply them during the product development process. Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders, customers, and team members. Comfortwith planning, prioritizing, conducting,analyzingand communicating research in a variety of contexts.
