The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating beautifully crafted software as well be a leader and a creative problem solver. Whilst you will be well versed in the Microsoft .Net stack, you will also be interested in other technologies, be agile minded, enthusiastic, and able to coherently present strong ideas and sustainable solutions to the team. You will be an experienced leader with 9/10+ years of working across the end-to-end software development life cycle and able apply modern software development practices when defining, designing, building, testing, and delivering software and services to users. You will utilize your deep technical expertise and skillset by representing software development engineering in overall project management and by specifying and driving progress towards development activities, milestones, and timelines. You will independently build software solutions, solve highly complex problems and display innovation when delivering to meet agreed business needs. You will interact with internal and external teams offering expertise on our products, work on projects independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams including senior stakeholders to manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. You will exhibit a growth mindset by mentoring and guiding Software Development Engineer team members in growing their skillsets and models continuous learning and curiosity. You will be looking to progress your career into people and resource management. You will also be expected to participate in the On-Call rotation which supports our maintenance, scheduled work, support, and release/deployment requirements. About the Role: Writes new software, makes modifications to existing software, or integrates software applications and modules in accordance with agreed upon specifications, created in partnership with others. Leads multiple and/or significant projects, programs, and business initiatives, demonstrating creativity and ingenuity. Delivers end-to-end technical solutions and solves complex problems that may be ambiguous in nature. Creates and executes unit testing and integration testing ensuring software meets requirements. Determines work priorities based on general direction from managers. Participate in daily stand-ups and pick up development tasks. May manage budget for projects or programs within area. Contributes to the creation of design. May lead the design of complex components. Must be able to provide technical support to Operations, QA engineers, non-technical employees, designers, other engineers, and other development teams. Provides specialist advice to middle and senior management to resolve complex issues. Creates, reviews, and maintains all required technical documentation/ manual related to assigned software to ensure supportability and reuse. Learn, share, and mentor with the team in positive and constructive ways new ideas, methods, technology, etc, work independently when required. Shows passion for efficiency and collaboration, with a history of establishing great relationships. Shows commitment and drive for quality, technical excellence, and results. Provides wider feedback into performance. Lead in the identification and implementation of short-term and long-term solution options, including risk assessments. Assists with improvements to prevent problems, including problem resolution workflow. Lead in remediation solutions. Can lead project planning sessions with team members to analyze development requirements, provide design options, and provide work breakdown and estimates of work. Provides timely status updates for areas of individual responsibilities within projects to supervisor. Demonstrates software as requested. Develops software using disciplined software development processes, adhering to team/company standards and software best practice guidelines, and corporate policies. About You: Software Engineering. Microsoft .Net MVC and .Net Core programming. C#. E cellent Communication. Leadership skills. Leading people, projects and group direction. Problem Solving with minimal guidance. Experience developing for the cloud (Azure, AWS). Good skills in JavaScript and/or any derived libraries and HTML/CSS. Database experience, SQL and NoSQL type databases. Experience with Web API development and API driven development. Experience in a continuous integration environment. Unit Testing or Test driven experience. Experience using source control (TFS, Git, Jira). Knowledge of AI tech, AI development and AI systems Willing and able to submit to a CJIS-compliant fingerprint-based background check. Willing and able to obtain or already have security clearance. Beneficial Skills & Competencies: Insights and/or domain experience in the legal profession. Azure service stack.
