We are seeking a dedicated Financial Program Coordinator to join our expanding team. This is a contract position with the opportunity to apply/interview for permanent vacancies. Our team provides critical administrative support for clinics, faculty members, clinicians, and employees within our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing supplemental payments and reimbursements, ensuring timely and accurate payments, and maintaining professional and empathetic communication with various departments. You will receive 2 weeks of intensive training covering software systems, workflow, and key stakeholders. The expectation is that candidates are independent and fully operational after 2 weeks. This role involves working remotely with an expectation to be onsite every other Wednesday for staff meetings. Starting from August 5th, candidates will return to the office 2 days per week (Wednesdays and a day of their choosing) with 3 days remote.

Hard Skills

  • 2+ years’ experience working with general ledger codes, financial terminology, payroll and reimbursements

  • Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and SAP experience

  • Smartsheet and iForm software experience preferred but not required

Soft Skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Ability to multi-task

  • Customer service focused approach

This is a contract position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Durham, North Carolina and some days remote.

Work Environment

Candidates will work remote with the expectation to be onsite every other Wednesday for staff meetings. Starting from August 5th, candidates will return to the office 2 days per week (Wednesdays and a day of their choosing) with 3 days remote. Free parking is provided.
