Job DescriptionWe are seeking Mill/Mixer Operators to manufacture high-quality printing ink. We will train right candidate to operate a mill machine and on TPM activities. As aMill/Mixer Operator you will be responsible for:
- Runningbatches of ink at proper mill settings
- Packagingfinished product in various containers and applying labels
- Cleaning and maintaining machines to TPM Standards
- Learning and applying TPM knowledge to daily activities
- Weigh-Up Batches: Following proper process order of addition.Shifting between auto and manual steps
- Mix Batch:Dischargingpigment and operatingmixer safely; following and adheringto all INX Mixer SOP's
- Hockmeyer mill operation:Running and maintaining optimum OEE (overall equipmenteffectiveness) standards
- Creatingand maintaining a database of all existing formulas including processing times
- Canning
- Operatingthe following: Press out unit, pump filter equipment, and forklift
- Acting as a QC liaison, providingink samples, makingink adjustments, and recording data
- Completingscheduled maintenanceand utilizing troubleshooting procedures.
- Helping with repacks
Hourly Rate $19-$22 USD depending on experience.
QualificationsTo perform your job as expected, you will be required to:
- Have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Have 3 months of related work experience
- Demonstrate good math and basic computer skills
- Pay attention to detail
- Be reliableto work assigned shift
- Be flexible to work overtime as required
- Have a strong Autonomous Maintenance (AM) background
- Be able to perform an active role with any multi-disciplinary teams
- Have good attendanceand punctuality
- Be able to lift up to 50 lbs
In addition to these qualifications, we will consider it a plus if you have:
- Forklift experience, but we can train you
- Mixing, mill, and pump filter industry background
- Previous experience in the ink industry
