ABOUT THE ROLE
The primary purpose of this position is to lead the development of a series of coordinated testing reports and presentations that support global, corporate and quality group initiatives with a clear and consistent message that is aimed at both technical and non-technical personnel for support, understanding and reinforcement of company initiatives.
This position provides monitoring, modification, and organization of group documents and use including documentation, user acceptance testing, training on quality-related information, accounting, budgeting, expense tracking and related purchasing requirements in support of group initiatives.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
Extract, analyse and manipulate plant testing data to create monthly reports, quarterly Quality Council Meeting presentations, adhoc and special project reports for internal and external customers in support of global, regional, and quality group initiatives.
Develop standardized reports in plant Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) that support quality group initiatives. Understand the use of logs and the need for standardization in reporting.
Basic understanding of ASTM (formerly known as American Society for Testing and Materials) and AASHTO (American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials) specifications and the impact on the business and the generation of Material Certification Reports. Work with quality group team to identify specification changes and business impact on Material Certification Reports. Coordinate all changes with the quality group and implement and test any Material Certification Report changes with the Americas Digital Center (ADC). Notify all interested parties once complete. For Material Certification Reports that cannot be generated with the tool, create a manual template, distribute to the local Quality Manager, and upload final documents to the repository.
Create, manage, maintain and update the visual profile of the US Cement group on the USA intranet including US Cement, Cement Sales, Technical Services and Quality & Product Performance pages including internal and external links, documents, presentation, resources and graphics.
Create, reconcile and process purchase requisitions/purchase orders in SAP and Basware for multiple projects/quality cost centers and specific plant certifications (i.e., NSF certifications). Initiate new vendor requests with proper documentation and conditions. Act as a vendor liaison and corporate contact; investigating delayed or incorrect vendor payments and maintain vendor relationships. Extract and document expense/budget tracking for multiple cost centers and projects; distributing reports to appropriate personnel as needed.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Education: Bachelor’s degree required
Field of Study Preferred: Technical, marketing or business degree preferred.
Required Training/Certifications: General understanding of ASTM and AASHTO specifications is a plus.
Required Computer and Software Skills: Excel and PowerPoint, operational knowledge of TIS and plant LIMS reporting, extensive knowledge and use of SAP and BW Hana (or equivalent) tools.
Travel Requirements: Occasional travel for team meetings.

- Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
