Senior SQL Database Developer BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Senior SQL Database Developer for a remote opportunity! Position Title: Senior SQL Database Developer Location: Remote Anticipated Start Date: 05/10/2024 Please note this is the target date and is subject to change. What we're looking for (top 5 only): * 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in a directly related area, during which both professional and management capabilities have been clearly demonstrated. * Extensive expertise in Microsoft SQL Server database, as well as data modeling, both logical and physical. * SQL knowledge (query performance tuning, index maintenance, etc.) as well as an understanding of database structure. * Extensive knowledge in Data De-identification and Test data preparation. * Extensive experience with collecting business requirements from customers and transform the requirements into DB data processes and data schema. * What you should expect in this role * This position is remote. * This position is part of a rotating on-call team. Recommended Additional Skills/Experience: * Minimum of bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. * Experience with Healthcare EDI standards such as 835s. * Knowledge of SSIS and SSRS * Experience with job scheduling tools. * Experience with a health insurance company, TPA, or claim processor and a thorough understanding on the underlying structure of claims transactions. * Role is not a standard SQL Server DBA, but rather a DBA/SQL Developer that has application performance experience. This is a must have.
