As a Senior Data Analyst, you will be responsible for identifying and developing data analytics and data strategy solutions. The successful candidate will collaborate cross-functionally with various business and data analytics teams, have proven data modeling, data analysis, and programming experience, and the ability to manage multiple competing projects at one time. Primary Responsibilities of the Senior Data Analyst:

• Design and develop data queries and programs through Python, Oracle, SAS, or other similar tools to create data sets and models for analysing and interpreting key drivers of health care trends (i.e., medical cost, utilisation, etc.).

• Build and maintain user friendly and informative dashboards and summarisations that provide actionable insights to stakeholders using relevant data visualisation aids.

• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, manage multiple priorities and deadlines, be detail-oriented and work independently as well as in groups.

• Collaborate with stakeholders and internal business partners to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions, using data visualisation tools.

• Apply Data Quality Assurance Techniques to verify accuracy and reliability of data and reports, identifying and resolving data quality issues.

• Implement data governance in line with company standards.

• Conduct Ad Hoc Analysis and solve complex data issues and provide consultative advice and summarise analytic findings. Present analysis clearly and consistently using various BI tools.

• Evaluate gaps in processes and opportunities for automation.

• Interpret and analyse clinical data from various sources and recommend best approaches.

• Provide ongoing, meaningful, communications to leadership on project status, results and conclusions from analyses.

• Migrate data from legacy systems to new solutions.

Required Qualifications of the Senior Data Analyst:

• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field (data science, analytics, mathematics, economics, business, statistics, engineering, or finance) or equivalent experience.

• Proficiency in analytic tools such as SAS, R, and Python.

• Experience programming statistical models, demonstrate understanding of different statistical methods and approaches.

• Intermediate or higher level of proficiency with MS Excel for data analytics and proficiency using other MS Office applications such as Word, PowerPoint, Teams & OneNote.

• Experience working within technical and business professionals in a matrix management environment.

• Experience using data visualisation tools such as Power BI, or similar.

Preferred Qualifications of the Senior Data Analyst:

• Advanced degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or related quantitative discipline

• Proficiency in Machine Learning and AI models and algorithms

• Experience in Snowflake

• Ability to work successfully in an ever-changing, priority driven environment

• Experience in medical data including hospital, ancillary, and physician

• Strong people skills, proven ability to work and present effectively with various levels of leadership

• Experienced working in a large global and virtual corporate environment
