About the Role

It is our intent to employ a dynamic and flexible supervisor f to assist the team leader in the day to day supervision of the Visitor Experience operation. The appointment will be for a period of 9 months.

You will be responsible for:

Visitor Operations:

  • Supervision of the operation on a daily basis

  • Queue and floor management.

  • Excels in customer service and is able to generate enthusiasm for delivering excellence in customer service.

  • Consciously acts as an ambassador for Guinness.

People Management

  • Supervision of their team on a daily basis. Liaises with the Team Leader/ Visitor Experience Manager to ensure the team is able to deliver first class standards and service every day.

  • Able to delegate to their team effectively

  • Assist with staff training as required

Duty Management :

  • Is able to make decision on own for best to business.

  • Ensures all cash and stock transactions are carried out accurately.

  • Ensures that the building presentation is to high standard, and take action where needed.

  • Takes responsibility for their own area when on duty Liaise with the Team Leader and keeps them constantly informed on issues.

  • Is imaginative in finding solutions to exceed our visitors’ expectations.

  • Has pre-disposition to take action, and to motivate others to take action rather than being told what to do or waiting for things to happen.

  • Uses initiative to excel in provision of customer service.

  • A strong team player. Prioritises time and workload

  • Good attention to detail, in particular cash, quality presentation

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Leaving Cert Minimum

  • At least 6 months experience in acting as a supervisor within a busy customer facing environment within tourism, retail or hospitality

  • High professional standards

  • Self motivated and able to motivate others

  • Has excellent operational experience in a customer facing environment

  • Be enthusiastic and energetic in the delivery of excellent customer experiences
