Individuals will plant/weed/harvest vegetables, herbs, berries, both manually and by operating or
working with tractor drawn machinery. Must be able to: understand instructions in English, legibly
label pick bins and record harvest records using a computer or paper log; determine when crops are
ripe and harvest by hand without bruising the produce or damaging the plants; lift & carry 50 lbs
throughout the day; bend, stoop and stand on feet for hours to weed, harvest, and wash crops; work
in low (32 degrees) and high temperatures and in the rain; use ladders, hand tools, shovels, hoes,
shears, and knives to harvest, transplant, or weed without plant or irrigation line damage. Inform the
farmer of crop progress, pests and general health of plants. Work as a team member with an
emphasis on good communication, understanding risks working around and on equipment. Daily work
may include: application of non-restricted pesticides; cleaning, packing and loading harvested crops;
operate irrigation pumps and sprinklers, checking maintenance and on-point accuracy. Workers may
not use cell phones during work hours, unless directed by the employer or in an emergency
situation.NO SMOKING is permitted in housing or on farm premises. Must abide by state and federal
food safety and sexual harassment laws. 5 months experience in all work listed required.

The employer will not guarantee to pay the worker a bonus but reserves the right to offer a
