PLURALSIGHT, LLC DevOps Engineer in DRAPER, Utah

Job Description: Summary: A DevOps Engineer partners with software development to curate Developer self-service tools and systems to empower our continuous deployment environment. They have an understanding of automation and problem-solving. They are responsible for educating stream-aligned product teams on how to build and own their own infrastructure. They also stay up to date on the DevOps community by continually researching, testing, and developing solutions to better enable our Software Engineers through automation and self-service. What you'll do: * Collaborate to develop a flexible infrastructure to promote Developer self-service * Monitor our environments, servers, and applications for health, performance and security * Forecast and assess reliability risks whilst ensuring redundancy and resilience of infrastructure and services * Maintain a pulse on emerging tools and technologies, discover opportunities within our environment where they could be used and implement solutions * Collaborate with teammates to research, address technical needs and roadmap and develop new solutions Experience you'll bring: * Extensive experience in a DevOps capacity * Experience with AWS Cloud services like EC2, RDS, S3 * Experience with Terraform and Containers * Excellent communication skills, ability to partner with product and design, and collaborate on multi-functional teams * Experience working with container deployment and orchestration technologies with knowledge of fundamentals including service discovery, deployments, monitoring, scheduling, and load balancing Requirements: * Basic experience as cloud provisioning (AWS), configuration management, and some exposure to an infrastructure as code tool (CloudFormation, CDK, Terraform) * Exposure to a programming language such as JavaScript, Python, or others * Experience using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or similar * Exposure to Windows and Linux Experience automation and the development of automation tools * Familiarity in continuous integration and deployment methodologies and pipelines Preferred qualifications/skills: * Exposure to GitLab and/or New Relic preferred * Knowledge of Kubernetes, Helm and Docker preferred Travel Requirements While Pluralsight operates under a remote and hybrid work model, we believe that in-person connection and collaboration are important.
