Job Title: Millwright Mechanic

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Millwright Mechanic to join our team in Dover, OH. This role involves industrial maintenance on chemical manufacturing equipment. The position follows a Dupont Schedule, rotating 4-3-3 days/nights on 12-hour shifts (6a-6p/6p-6a).

Responsibilities

• Perform industrial maintenance on chemical manufacturing equipment.

• Conduct pipefitting, pipe assembly, and installation.

• Rebuild and install pumps.

• Repair motors and conveyors.

• Perform minor structural welding as needed.

• Work on valves, gears, meters, and bearings.

• Lubricate and maintain equipment.

• Install and dismantle equipment.

• Provide emergency and unscheduled repairs in a timely manner.

• Read equipment manuals to ensure proper operation and repair.

• Complete and maintain accurate paperwork as needed.

Essential Skills

• 4+ years of mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment.

• Experience with hydraulics and pneumatic systems.

• Proficiency with valves, pipes, pumps, meters, bearings, and gearboxes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with large conveyors and bearings.

• Welding skills.

• Basic electrical maintenance knowledge.

• Experience in chemical manufacturing is a big plus.

• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.

• Troubleshooting skills.

Work Environment

The work environment includes a starting rate of $28.71 during initial training, increasing to $32.21 after a 90-day training period, with further increases to $33.21 after twelve months. The schedule involves rotating 4-3-3 days/nights on 12-hour shifts with every other Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off. You will work in an industrial chemical manufacturing environment, both indoors and outdoors as needed. The pay range for this position is $58000.00 - $66500.00/yr.
