Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Cash Application Specialist to join our team in Doral, Florida. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately and efficiently processing incoming payments, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and apply incoming payments (checks, wire transfers, credit card payments) accurately and promptly.

• Reconcile customer accounts to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.

• Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to payments or invoices.

• Prepare and maintain records of accounts receivable transactions.

• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on cash receipts and application status.

• Work closely with other departments (such as Accounts Receivable and Billing) to resolve issues and discrepancies.

• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders regarding payment inquiries.

  Requirements

• Proven experience as a Cash Application Specialist or similar role (1-3 years preferred).

• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial transactions.

• Experience with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and proficiency in MS Excel.

• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail in data entry and reconciliation.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
