In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for curating and executing a world-class beverage program that sets the standard for excellence in the industry. Your creativity, expertise, and attention to detail will be instrumental in shaping the cocktail offerings at Park Hyatt Doha, ensuring that each drink tells a story and captivates the senses of our discerning guests.
As the leader of our team, you will inspire and mentor, guiding them in the art of crafting cocktails with precision, flair, and passion. Your leadership will foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement, empowering your team to exceed guest expectations and elevate the overall guest experience.
In addition to overseeing day-to-day operations behind the bar, you will collaborate with our Food and Beverage Director to develop strategic initiatives that drive beverage revenue, enhance guest satisfaction, and align with the hotel's overall brand positioning. This may include creating signature cocktails, organizing special events, and implementing training programs to ensure consistency and excellence across all aspects of the beverage program.
As the face of our mixology program, you will represent Park Hyatt Doha with poise, professionalism, and a genuine passion for hospitality. Your ability to connect with guests, anticipate their needs, and deliver personalized service will set the standard for excellence and inspire loyalty among our esteemed clientele.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a mixologist or bartender in a high-end setting.
Extensive knowledge of spirits, liqueurs, and cocktail recipes.
Strong communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Attention to detail and creativity in crafting cocktails and presenting beverages.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work different shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
WSET Level 2 minimum certification.
Experience in creating beverage programs for specific venues.
Ability to ensure the beverage program is on par with current beverage trends.
Proven capability in creating beverage guest experiences.
