Job Description: CNC Operator Location: Dexter, MI Pay Rate: Starts at $18.00 per hour Contact: Apply by calling 734-484-3668 as soon as possible We are seeking an experienced CNC Operator to join our team in Dexter, MI. This role is available for both day and night shifts and requires a person who is quality conscious, mechanically inclined, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. A good attendance record, initiative, strong communication skills, and a positive attitude are essential for success in this position.
Shifts Available:
- Day Shift: 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday - Friday
Note: Must be available to work overtime as needed. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC machines to produce quality parts and maintain production levels.
- Diagnose mechanical difficulties and perform troubleshooting as needed.
- Conduct basic cleaning, oiling, and general maintenance of CNC machines and inspection boxes.
- Continuously stock machines with required production materials.
- Change tools, drills, and inserts in the machine as needed.
- Read and interpret blueprints.
- Utilize micrometers (o.d. mics, i.d. mics, calipers) for precise measurements.
- Lift 50 lbs. or more as required.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1-year prior CNC experience.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints.
- Proficiency in using micrometers and other precision measuring tools.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
