Job Title: Technology Consultant II
Location: 600 E Lafayette Blvd. Detroit, MI 48226
Job Duties: Collaborate with the development scrum teams and other interconnected IT groups to optimize the end-to-end process including monitoring, deployment, and support. Implement monitoring services to proactively identify issues. Maintain updated system documentation and Salesforce policies/procedures. Actively transfer knowledge throughout organization, participate in knowledge sharing projects to develop best practices, lead knowledge sharing sessions, and mentor junior staff and new hires. Perform tasks related to the day-to-day operations of several large implementations of Salesforce including managing user access, sharing model, creation and maintenance of custom objects and fields, handling bulk data migration, workflows, validation rules, page layouts, and troubleshooting of Apex and integrations. Manage tasks and projects in a fast-paced support environment, driving all issues to resolution with a focus on customer satisfaction and efficient task execution. Maintain and demonstrate 100% compliance with all written security policies, SOX procedures, and change management controls. Remote work permitted within a reasonable commuting distance of the Detroit Michigan Office.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Systems Analysis, Electronics Engineering, or closely related field of study and ten (10) years of experience as a Senior Programmer Analyst, Senior Systems Engineer, or closely related occupation. Also requires at least 10 years of experience in the following:
- APEX;
- Visual Force;
- Java;
- Force.com IDE;
- Validation rules:
- Java Script;
- REST API;
- Oracle, Splunk, or Heroku Postgresql; and
- SOQL.
