Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Join our team as a Maintenance Technician, working Monday-Saturday from 4:00pm-2:00am. Production halts at 10:00pm, allowing four hours dedicated to maintenance tasks, PMs, and projects before the first shift begins. As part of a small, tight-knit crew of five maintenance personnel, you will handle 80% mechanical maintenance and 20% electrical maintenance across our facility. Your responsibilities will primarily involve the upkeep of conveyor systems, as well as additional tasks including welding, plumbing, and electrical troubleshooting. You will engage in proactive preventative maintenance, respond to work orders, and address any equipment breakdowns, documenting each task in a maintenance notebook for future reference.

Work Environment

Our company is a family-owned enterprise with a 74-year history, producing over 150 varieties of baked goods. The facility operates with a mix of older relay logic and state-of-the-art computer-controlled machines. You will be joining a maintenance team currently consisting of nine dedicated professionals.
