HospitalityStaff a full-service staffing company that holds the government contract for housekeeping services in Destin. Currently, we are searching for the right person to join our team in capacity of a Laundry Attendant.
Laundry Attendant Job Summary: We're searching for an enthusiastic, hardworking laundry attendant committed to providing our guests with an exceptional stay at our hotel. Our laundry attendants perform tasks such as washing, and folding linens, keeping laundry area clean and clutter free. Ideally, you have experience with industrial washing products and the capacity to lift 20 pounds or more regularly. If you're friendly, reliable, and take pride in a job well done, apply now!
Laundry Attendant Responsibilities:
- Look at all of your linens and treat any stains that you find
- Place all laundry in the washer and add the cleaning agents as directed
- Take out the linens after washing and dry them following the manufacturer's recommendations
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are in stock and indicate any shortages to the general manager
- Inspect laundry equipment visually and report any maintenance issues to the building management
Laundry Attendant Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience as a laundry attendant
- Must be able to lift 20 pounds on a consistent basis
- Strong knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and products
- Impeccable work ethic and excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
