POSITION OVERVIEW

The R&D Engr Scientist I will join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our research and development efforts, with a specific focus on liquid chromatography (LC), combustion, and physical property testing (viscosity, flashpoint, smoke point).

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct routine and specialized chemical analyses using LC and LC-MS techniques.

  • Develop and optimize analytical methods for the identification and quantification of compounds.

  • Perform sample preparation, extraction, and data analysis.

  • Maintain and troubleshoot analytical instruments, including LC, and LC-MS systems.

  • Conduct routine physical property testing such as viscosity measurements, flashpoint, and smoke point.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support research projects.

  • Document experimental procedures, results, and observations accurately.

  • Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in chromatography and mass spectrometry.

MUST HAVE

  • Minimum of Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or related field

  • 2+ years hands on experience with GC and/or physical property testing

The annual base salary range for this position is $65,50000 - $81,900. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
