Job Summary:
The Credit Analyst I provides timely and quality financial spreading and analysis and assists with the preparation of approval packets for commercial loan requests and annual reviews. They will calculate and determine a borrower’s compliance with loan covenants and will support the credit risk function of the bank by performing other duties as assigned.
The Credit Analyst II provides timely and quality financial spreading and analysis and calculates and determines borrower’s compliance with loan covenants. They will also assist with the preparation of approval packets for commercial loan requests and annual reviews and support the credit risk function of the bank by performing other duties as assigned.
Primary Functions and/or Responsibilities:
Credit Analyst I:
· Spread business and personal financial statements and prepare financial analysis
· Support commercial underwriting by inputting customer information into presentation format (i.e., Abrigo)
· Prepare appropriate cash flow analysis to determine borrower’s ability to service debt obligations
· Independently calculate borrower financial covenants for compliance with loan agreements
· Prepare various reports that support management reporting and tracking
· Become familiar with Loan Policy and Loan Guidelines in order to determine compliance
Credit Analyst II (in addition to above):
· Work with Commercial Portfolio Managers to understand clients request and/or current financial performance
· Independently researches and analyzes company, industry and economic data
· Successful completion of any assigned credit training
· Other duties as assigned
Education and/or Experience:
Credit Analyst I:
· BA or BS degree in Business, Accounting or Finance or Associates degree
· 0-2 years experience required
Credit Analyst II:
· BA or BS degree in Business, Accounting or Finance or Associates degree
· 2+ year(s) experience required
Specific Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:
· Some banking or other related financial experience desired
· Ability to research and understand commercial and commercial real estate lending and banking regulations
· Ability to deal effectively with customers and all levels of the bank organization
Hiring Salary Range
The hiring range below reflects targeted base salary. Actual compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s prior related experience & education and will be finalized at the time of offer. In addition to base salary, most positions are also eligible to participate in our annual bonus program. Select positions may also be eligible to earn incentives and/or commissions.
Credit Analyst I - Hiring Salary Range: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour (Annualized at 40 hours per week: $47,840 - $56,160)
Credit Analyst II - Hiring Salary Range: $54,000 - $62,500
