We’re looking for a dynamic, strategic, and visionary Assistant Director - Product Management to take the lead in being responsible for our newly crafted Onboarding Product Family driving high-impact initiatives!

  • Lead & Encourage: Manage and mentor a team of Product Managers, encouraging a culture of innovation, ownership, and excellence.

  • Drive Strategic Impact: Define and implement product strategies for two highly sophisticated and mission-critical product families.

  • Own Cross-Functional Success: Partner with leaders across business, technology, and operations to ensure seamless execution and value realization.

  • Champion Communication & Alignment: Be the voice and advocate for these product families, ensuring clarity in vision, outcomes, and expectations.

  • Measure, Adapt & Deliver: Keep a sharp focus on product health, customer impact, and ROI—driving continuous improvement and sustainable growth.

  • Allocate Resources for Success: Collaborate with finance and senior leadership to secure the investment needed to bring critical initiatives to life.

Who You Are

  • 8+ years of business, technology, or product management experience; or equivalent demonstrated through the following: work experience, training, military experience, or education.

  • 5+ years working in a highly collaborative, fast-paced product environment.

  • 2+ years of informal or formal leadership experience.

  • Proven track record of developing and executing business strategies across multiple products.

  • Extensive experience managing complex stakeholder relationships and expectations in a multi-product environment.

  • Strong ability to drive product outcomes, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.

  • Deep expertise in product domain knowledge, leveraging data and insights to inform decision-making.

  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex challenges using sound judgment, risk assessment, and data-driven reasoning.

  • Experience coaching and mentoring professionals to develop high-performing teams.

  • Comprehensive understanding of modern product discovery and delivery methodologies, with the ability to effectively mentor others in these practices.

  • Proficiency in research, synthesis, ideation, and testing within an iterative dual-track discovery and delivery framework.

  • Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.

Salary Range Information

Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.

Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly)

$123000 - $167000 / year

Time Off Program

Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don’t accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.

Work Environments

This role offers hybrid (blending at least three office days in a typical workweek) in our corporate office in Des Moines, Iowa.
