Your opportunity
Work with the Business Stakeholders, Project Managers / Scrum Masters, data analysts, data architects and developers to define solutions and implement change
Product Management/Ownership: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of software projects and products, ensuring they meet quality standards, budget constraints, and timelines
Technical Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of software developers, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Conduct regular code reviews and oversee technical design to ensure best practices are followed
App Development: Utilize your extensive background in Azure, .NET, C#, Python, data analytics, cloud data platforms, and financial data management to guide the technical direction and architecture of projects
Take responsibility for changes assigned to you, including facilitating the required meetings, obtaining sign-off of acceptance criteria and managing to implementation
Translate business requirements into technical requirements and solution design
Conduct data sourcing from JHI’s data platform to support detailed analysis
Produce quality test plans and manage all aspects of system and user testing either as an individual or in conjunction with other teams
Liaise with the wider technology teams to coordinate interdependencies and resolve issues
Oversee risks and issues effectively with timely escalation to the Product Owner or Change Delivery Lead
Carry out other duties as assigned

Must have skills
Deep Knowledge in Software Development: Proven expertise in software development, test automation, and DevOps practices, particularly in Azure, .NET Core or Angular, and Python
Data Analytics Proficiency: Strong ability to work with complex data analytics and leverage cloud data platforms to drive decision-making and insights
Financial Data and Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of financial data management and compliance requirements within the industry
Problem-Solving Skills: Exceptional complex problem-solving abilities to navigate technical challenges and deliver innovative solutions
Cloud Infrastructure Experience: Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructures and data architectures, with a preference for those familiar with Databricks and Snowflake
Experience leading the analysis process: from requirement gathering, writing test cases, implementation, sign offs and presenting demos to business
Proven experience with the data technologies required to support the business
Delivery focused approach and attitude, and strength in managing and leading change
Strong, analytical mind and are comfortable working on complex problems both on strategic and tactical level
Nice to have skills
Advanced Degrees: A master’s degree in engineering and/or Finance is preferred, though equivalent industry experience will also be considered
Agile Development Experience: Experience in leading teams using Agile development methodologies to deliver high-quality software solutions efficiently
AI-ML: Exposure to Azure AI services and existing ML libraries from data bricks
Prior work experience in Asset Management Industry

Compensation information
The base salary range for this position is $150,000 - $165,000. This range is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different. This role will remain posted through July 12, 2024.

Annual Bonus Opportunity: Position is eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus award from the profit pool. The profit pool is funded based on Company profits. Individual bonuses are determined based on Company, department, team and individual performance.
