Position: Sr. Project Accountant, Corporate & Payroll
FLSA Status: Exempt
Supervisor: Corporate Controller
Direct Reports: None
General Purpose
The primary purpose of this role is to facilitate various financial projects, including forecasting, budgeting, and audits, while maintaining the corporate cash flow statement. This role also is responsible for accurately recording and reconciling payroll, benefits, and bank transactions. The role requires a detail-oriented and proactive individual capable of working independently and collaboratively within a hybrid work environment. The successful candidate will leverage their expertise in financial software, particularly Yardi, and advanced Excel skills to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of financial processes.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
Record journal entries for bi-weekly payroll and monthly benefits
Serve as backup for Payroll
Reconcile monthly benefits
Bank reconciliations for corporate accounts
Maintain corporate cash flow statement
Financial analysis and review of annual salary comparison project
Verify and vet data from budgeting software
Forecasting and projections for Corporate Accounting
Payroll HRIS transition and maintenance
Move funds between various bank accounts
Provide accurate reporting with 401k audit
Serve as corporate liaison for REBA BI
Other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
Knowledge:
Yardi experience preferred
Prior experience reconciling financials
Advanced Excel knowledge
Prior experience budgeting and forecasting preferred
Experience with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Experience:
3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance
Prior experience with budgeting and forecasting
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred
