Switchfly, Inc. Quality Assurance Engineer in Denver, Colorado
Develop and execute software tests to identify problems with software and their causes. Test new features and modifications to prepare for implementation for API, Functional, Systems and GUI for company products. Define and document test strategy and regression test suites for cross browser accessibility testing. Execute the test cases and automated scripts. Find, isolate, document, regress, and track bugs through resolution. Establish and track quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts. Communication information effectively with cross-functional teams and provide all necessary internal Quality Assurance support. Telecommuting permitted up to 100%.
Requirements:
Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field plus three (3) years of experience in developing and executing quality assurance tests for software products.
Specific Skills: Also requires background in: Developing custom test case strategies; SQL and JIRA; Java, Javascript, and Python automation scripting; Powershell; Implementation of application designs; Selenium framework for automation tests; Defect tracking tools: BugZilla, Mantis, and IBM Rational ClearQuest; API testing tools Postman, SoapUI; Entire bug life cycle; software testing, including unit testing, performance testing, UX/usability testing; and Test estimation techniques.
Pay Range and Benefits Information: The base salary range for this role is between $95,500 to $115,500 per year. In addition, this role may be eligible for an annual bonus, equity, and other discretionary bonuses.
