Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Pre-Litigation Paralegal to support one of our clients in a contract/temporary capacity. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting attorneys in the pre-litigation phase of personal injury cases, including case management, client communication, and documentation preparation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organizational skills and a passion for helping injured individuals seek justice.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial client intake interviews and gather relevant information about their injuries and accidents.

• Communicate with clients, insurance adjusters, medical providers, and other parties involved in pre-litigation matters.

• Assist attorneys in case evaluation and investigation, including gathering medical records, police reports, and other pertinent documents.

• Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documents are accurately recorded and easily accessible.

• Prepare demand packages and negotiate settlements with insurance companies on behalf of clients.

• Draft correspondence, pleadings, and other legal documents related to pre-litigation matters.

• Coordinate with medical providers to obtain medical records and billing information for clients' cases.

• Assist attorneys in preparing for mediations, arbitrations, and other pre-litigation proceedings.

• Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates on the status of their cases and address any concerns.

• Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and processing incoming mail.

  Requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field preferred.

• Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program preferred.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a paralegal in a law firm, preferably in personal injury or civil litigation.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Understanding of legal terminology and procedures related to pre-litigation matters.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when handling sensitive information.

• Commitment to providing exceptional client service and representing the firm in a professional manner.
