Position and Responsibilities Overview
Manage financial reporting on all projects using percentage of completion accounting. Leading and actively participate in monthly financial review meetings on all key projects. Establish, communicate, and adhere to a monthly closing schedule. Prepare updated revenue and gross margin projections on a monthly basis. Managing accounts receivable collections by following up with Project Managers. Assist the Presidents of the Business Units in understanding the financial position of their Business Unit. Focusing on revenue and gross margin. Work with the external auditor as necessary. Assist the Presidents of the Business Units with their annual budget. Focusing on revenue and gross margin. Qualifications Bachelors or Master's degree in Accounting Two or more years with a top 10 accounting firm CPA 15+ years of experience in accounting and financial management with increasing responsibilities Five or more years working in a construction accounting environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent analytical and organizational skills Knowledge of database and accounting computer application systems to supply the most accurate financial information Knowledge of Vista ERP system a plus.
