Lt. Governor Dianne Primavera serves as the second highest ranking elected or appointed official in the executive branch of the State of Colorado. The Office of the Lt. Governor works closely with the Office of the Governor to ensure the effective implementation of the Polis-Primavera Administration’s priorities. The Office of the Lt. Governor leads a broad portfolio of programs, including Aerospace and Defense, the Colorado Commission of Indian Affairs, the Colorado Disability Funding Committee and Disability Policy, the Office of eHealth Innovation, the Office of Saving People Money on Health Care, and Serve Colorado.

Position Title:Operations and Special Projects Coordinator
Department:Office of eHealth Innovation in the Office of the Lieutenant Governor
HIRING SALARY RANGE: $54,900 to $60,500 Annually
FLSA STATUS: Exempt; position is not eligible for overtime compensation.
Expected Annual Travel: Occasional travel in Colorado as necessary.
The Office of eHealth Innovation (OeHI) is looking for an experienced coordinator to join our team advancing innovative and cutting edge Health Information Technology (IT) projects in Colorado. A successful candidate will take initiative to solve problems, effectively manage multiple complex tasks at a time, and bring a passion for health equity.
Summary of Functions: This position is responsible for operational support for OeHI, including administrative support to the Director of OeHI. General duties include, but are not limited to: scheduling appointments, managing meeting and event logistics; and assisting daily OeHI operations, including budget and communications; fielding and directing inquiries; scheduling travel and creating reimbursements; creating briefing and communication materials; updating websites and communication channels; note taking; supporting the eHealth Commission and workgroup meetings; organizing and tracking correspondence; coordinating with the Office of the Lt. Governor in support of office and OeHI priorities; and, acting as a liaison between OeHI and applicable state agencies. This position will be responsible for operating Google suite, including coordinating calendars and meetings. Duties may also include special projects as assigned.
Special projects and other duties will be assigned by the OeHI Director to support operations and office priorities. These may include projects such as organizing team events and representing OeHI on strategic meetings or groups. The position may be responsible for managing several projects concurrently in addition to other duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The following list is an overview of basic tasking.
Acting as liaison between OeHI, the Department of Health Care Policy and Financing (HCPF), state agencies, and community partners
Scheduling appointments, meetings, events, and travel details for the Director of OeHI, OeHI Deputy Director and OeHI project team
Organizing and tracking correspondence and office materials
Preparing and distributing agendas and project materials for meetings
Supervising interns and managing their projects
Creating briefing and communication materials, including drafting and circulating newsletters
Drafting briefing materials and memos for senior elected officials
Fielding and directing website, webform, and email inquiries
Coordination and logistics of eHealth Commission and workgroup meetings
Developing and delivering communications, including website development
Coordination and tracking on funding requests, contracts, and budgets
Assisting the OeHI Director in day to day operations and activities
Supporting stakeholder meetings
Special projects and other duties as requested by OeHI Director to support operations and OeHI projects
Organizational Relationships:
This position reports to the Director of OeHI and is part of the Office of Saving People Money on Health Care. Position may supervise interns.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, SUBSTITUTIONS, CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT & APPEAL RIGHTS:
Education/Experience:
Two or more years of work experience.
Must possess exceptional organizational, communication, and customer service skills and the ability to maintain confidential information and to interact collaboratively and effectively with a diverse audience.
Strong written and verbal communication skills desired.
Prior team/supervisory experience desirable. Experience in health care and health IT preferred.
