Description:

Seeking experienced engineer to help build out the Automation team. Will be responsible for leading I&C project requirements including control valves, automated valves, control panel design, device specs, control systems, components, ladder logic programming, SCADA programming and their applications. Will also be responsible for producing reports, studies and presentations that are pivotal in shaping managements decisions. This role will be client facing so must have some experience with customer interaction/business development.

Duties:

-Design develop and implement control systems

-Develop control system guiding documentation including P&ID's, control philosophy, cause and effect diagrams and process design basis

-Develop and modify ESD systems for greenfield and brownfield facilities

-Design and specify instrumentation devices which may include flow meters, control valves, regulators, relief valves, automated valves

-Develop control logic software and user interface applications as well as system architecture layout and components

-Develop control panel layout and fabrication drawings

-Lead and perform control system component Factory Acceptance Testing

-Lead the automation and control system design, programming and commissioning projects for clients

-Lead and coordinate small teams of engineers as required for project design and construction/commissioning

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors in Engineering

• Minimum 10 years of experience as an automation engineer

• Must come from a midstream oil and gas background

• Must be proficient with PLC programming of any platform ( Siemens, Allen Bradley, Schneider, etc.)

• SCADA Pack Programming

• Must have experience with executing automation projects
