Alteryx is searching for a Director, HR Business Partner. This position is remote-friendly.
Position Overview:
As the Director, HR Business Partner, you will lead a team of HR Business Partners (one directly and others indirectly) and play a critical role in driving organizational effectiveness and talent management within our Product Engineering and IT organizations. You will collaborate closely with senior leaders and managers to align HR strategies with business objectives, foster a high-performance culture, and ensure our workforce is well-equipped to achieve our revenue goals. This position reports to the VP, HR Business Partners and works closely with HR centers of excellence to deliver exceptional HR services and support.
Key Responsibilities: Directly manage one HRBP and provide overall leadership and mentorship to regional HRBPs supporting Product Engineering and IT, fostering their professional growth, aligning their efforts with organizational objectives, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality HR support to respective business units and regions. Develop a deep understanding of the Product Engineering and IT organizations' businesses, objectives, and challenges. Leverage business acumen to provide thought leadership and consultation/support on people and organizational issues. Collaborate with senior leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that drive business success. Actively participate with and influence senior leaders, advising on people and organization impact of business plans and decisions; ensure that organizational change and transformation plans are established and effectively executed. Provide expert HR guidance on organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and other talent development initiatives. Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, fostering a workplace culture that values and promotes DEIB at all levels of the organizati Work closely with people leaders on performance management, coaching, and employee development. Act as a trusted advisor to employees and management to solve complex employee relations issues with professionalism and discretion. Provide data-driven leadership that supports the organization with actionable insights to enable data-driven decisions
Qualifications: 10+ years of progressive HR experience. 5+ years of people leadership experience preferred. Demonstrated experience supporting Product and Engineering organizations in the technology industry is highly desirable. Proven track record of effective leadership and management, including the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a high-performing HRBP team. Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business needs into HR strategies and actions. In-depth technical expertise in Human Resource practices and knowledge of industry standards and emerging trends. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships ac oss all levels of a matrixed organization. Demonstrated ability to have a global perspective, considering the impact of cultural, legal, and operational differences in different regions and countries Strong ability to effectively influence and persuade stakeholders at all levels of the organization, facilitating the adoption of HR strategies and initiatives, and driving positive organizational change. Demonstrated ability to adapt and remain resilient in response to evolving circumstances and challenges.

Alteryx is committed to fair, equitable, and transparent compensation. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as your relevant work experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location.
The salary range for this role in California and Colorado is between $185,000 - $210,000.
In addition, you may be eligible for additional compensation, such as bonus and stock grants. Employees may also be eligible for a wide range of other benefits (subject to eligibility), including medical,
