Laradon Development Coordinator in Denver, Colorado
Position: Development Coordinator
Location: Laradon fosters a collaborative, team environment; working on-site in Denver, CO.
Application Deadline: May 31
Schedule: Monday-Friday, based on a 40 hour work week.
Starting Salary Range: * $23.00-$27.60/hr.
The stated starting salary pay range for this position is meant to reflect a range of where a typical entry level candidate would start and is not meant to be all inclusive. Additional education and experience may result in a starting pay outside of the stated range.

We are seeking a Development Coordinator to support the Foundation team. Reporting to the Planned Giving Manager, this role will support Laradon’s mission by assisting the Development Department (Laradon Foundation) in organizing and executing specific development operations (administration work, donor database, and event logistics) in order to meet fundraising goals. This person will manage the donor database and other information systems, records management, information and data processing. This staff member is responsible for coordination of donor data and information to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the database, research, overseeing data input & output.
No day is ever alike but you can generally look forward to the following responsibilities:
Manage Donor Database
Cleanup of duplicate records, update outdated contact information
Help develop cultivation strategies
Work with Communications Manager on email lists for invitations, newsletters, and appeals
Gift Processing
Collect, sort and identify, enter daily gifts accurately
Produce receipts/individualized acknowledgments in a timely fashion
Manage regular downloads and imports of gifts made online through various platforms, including Colorado Gives, Caring Connection, Mile High United Way, Freewill
Assist with all gift and pledge reports and act as liaison with the Finance Department to ensure reconciliation, including monthly reporting and the annual audit
Donor Relations
Help increase the number of individual donors and leveraging individual supporters as advocates, volunteer fundraisers and committed supporters
Research opportunities for new partnerships with outside organizations
Assist development department in implementing plans for interested organizations to get involved through sponsorships, volunteering, cultivate them as potential prospects
Coordinate annual appeal strategy with Communications Manager
Provides executive support for Laradon Foundation Board, including preparing for meetings, developing agenda, and scheduling individual meetings
Administrative Support: Support the Development Department with all administration details
General
Generate customized and accurate queries, reports, and lists through CRM as needed for presentations and Board meetings
Analyze and track fundraising efforts with weekly and monthly reports
Proactively identify and implement database modifications to support accurate recording and reporting; participate in systems analysis of donor database and related software
General support of marketing and communications efforts, grant and planned giving efforts

CRM Database experience required
Strong computer and technical skills
Excellent Microsoft Office skills especially Excel, Word, Outlook
Advanced proficiency data manipulation

Ability to learn and adapt new skills and concepts
Strong administrative and organization skills
Experience providing technical and administrative experience is preferred
Minimum Three to Five years’ experience
Excellent verbal and written and highly organized and detail oriented
Demonstrated resourcefulness and initiative and excellent listening and writing skills
Valid driving license, good driving record and reliable transportation
