Your opportunity

  • Research, design, develop, test, debug, document and support custom .NET applications or Angular in support of investment business needs

  • Use ETL data skills to help download and maintain the financial data we use with data modeling, and data engineering techniques

  • Deliver to aggressive product release schedules working as a cooperative team member in an agile development environment

  • Produce technical specifications and release notes for required features and architectural/framework improvements

  • Client focused, committed to excellence, strong attention to detail and a team player

  • Participate in code design and code reviews with appropriate team members

  • Partner with the product owner and delivery team in an agile environment where we interact directly with business partners to establish requirements for and develop new solutions, and enhance and maintain existing ones

  • Provide ongoing change management including training and documentation updates

  • Collaborate closely with the wider technology teams to coordinate interdependencies and resolve issues and understand overlaps of teams and applications

  • Turn our data into outstanding reports and dashboards used by our business partners

  • Carry out other duties as assigned

    Must have skills

  • Experience with Azure cloud, databricks, snowflake, PLSQL, etc.

  • Ability with working databases (Snowflake, Databricks, SQL Server, etc)

  • Knowledge of building reports in Power BI using DAX formulas

  • Experience with language like Python, PySpark

  • Practice as a software engineer/developer in C#.NET, Microsoft .NET technology or Angular Experience with WCF, WPF, ASP.Net/Angular, LINQ, MVC, JQuery, Entity Framework, JavaScript, HTML, CSS preferred

  • Knowledge with rapid development, agile methodologies, peer review of codes

  • Experience building integrations using web service technologies (REST, SOAP/XML)

    Nice to have skills

  • Experience in ETL development using Informatica, or any other ETL technologies is a plus

  • Experience with workflow /issue tracking/project management tool like Jira

  • Very analytical and mathematically inclined

  • Strong communication and problem solving skills

  • Experience with Agile (Scrum/Kanban) methodologies

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills

  • Proactive and analytical with strong problem solving skills

  • Strong knowledge in Object Oriented Analysis, Design and Programming

  • Experience as architect, bigger vision on entire application ecosystem

    Compensation information

    The base salary range for this position is $110,000 - $120,000. This range is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different. This role will remain open through July 19, 2024.

    Annual Bonus Opportunity: Position is eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus award from the profit pool. The profit pool is funded based on Company profits. Individual bonuses are determined based on Company, department, team and individual performance.
