What You Will Do...

• Follows all safety guidelines/practices

• Perform housekeeping/TPEM/5S as required.

• Repairs/maintains various forms of power transmission equipment.

• Reads blueprints, plans and layout work.

• Operate hand/power tools.

• Able to work at heights up to and including 60 FT (Silo work).

• Perform task as assigned by the work order system.

• Work with others to help maintain the spare parts inventory.

• Follow current good manufacturing practice (cGMP) for industry.

• Performs troubleshooting and project work, plus scheduled and unscheduled maintenance as directed.

• Completely and accurately document all tasks performed,

• Disposes of all waste materials properly.

• Works as a team with others in the maintenance group.

• Updates old plant equipment and participates in new product/machine design with outside contractors or maintenance staff.

What You Will Have...

• Associates Degree in Maintenance Technology or equivalent work experience.

• Must possess work order basic, mechanical and electrical skills.

• Excellent math skills.

• Good computer skills.

• Physical abilities - refer to job analysis

• History of safe working behaviors

• Ability to read blueprints.

• Understanding of quality control.

• Must possess own hand tools.

• Demonstrated measurement skills; ability to use various measuring devices with above-average accuracy

• Must be willing to work modified shift schedule(s) as production schedules dictate

“The hourly pay range for this position is $21.09 - $30.44. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered.
