Job Description

Implementation Success Services curates and manages a variety of tools and assets that support Oracle Services in delivering exceptional customer solutions.

Oracle’s iterative and incremental methodology, True Cloud Method, enables our consultants to lead our clients more smoothly towards achieving their desired business benefits with SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS. It promotes a solution led approach driving the adoption of Oracle’s Modern Best Practice processes and enables innovation by providing a common & consistent framework for the entire project. We nurture internal capabilities and ensure ongoing vitality by focusing on the improvement of enduring capabilities, a key component of the implementation process in preparation for successfully operating in the Cloud.

The role is positioned in the Corporate Digital Office under the Customer Success Services organization. The reporting line is to VP Implementation Success.

The Implementation Success Services team is looking for domain Team members in the following areas:

  • CX

  • EPM

  • ERP

  • HCM

  • Technology

  • GIUs

Responsibilities

The responsibilities include:

  • Plan, define, manage, and harvest domain-relevant solution components to support the full customer engagement lifecycle.

  • Engage with the field to monitor and drive adoption of the methodology.

  • Initiate, plan, and monitor training and enablement initiatives and provide guidance to business leaders.

  • Actively manage stakeholders allowing feedback from the fields to enhance the methodology and assets.

  • Provide hands-on guidance to selected projects from the sales cycle through to live-operate.

  • Support the champion network.

  • Actively communicate asset improvements and methodology updates to the field.

  • Enable and support ICE-T Solution Component Builder in defining and creating delivery effort estimation models.

  • Enable and support ICE-T Estimation Champions in defining and creating delivery effort for Opportunities.

  • Support the enablement of ICE-T in the field.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • Experience of managing and leading within a large and diverse international organization.

  • Experience of implementing consulting projects

  • Experience of selling or delivering domain-related services.

  • Experience of managing and leading virtual teams.

  • Experience of driving enablement programs for consultants.

LEADERSHIP REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to lead and manage by influence and persuasion.

  • Strong personality: able to operate effectively with the highest levels of Oracle Services leadership.

  • High levels of energy, passion, creativity, and enthusiasm. Self-starting and independently driven.

  • Ability to combine day-to-day operations with strategic input and leadership.

  • Ability to collaborate and communicate with executives across Oracle’s lines of business.

  • Coaching, mentoring and communication skills.

  • Organized and driven. Leadership experience is a bonus.

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

As a member of the Implementation Success Services team, the domain team member will drive the lifecycle of high-quality solution components - Solution Sets, Solutions, Blueprints and Footprints and will support the Oracle implementation community, including Oracle Consulting, Global Industry Units, and partners. This will require producing and maintaining a domain publication plan, facilitate development of solution components through workshops and periodic meetings, and an adoption strategy for the domain. In addition, will contribute to the domain board consisting of business development leaders, practice managers, GSC and other key stakeholders.

This role requires a very good network of contacts across the domains not only within Oracle Consulting and Oracles Global Industry Units, but also with license sales, presales, and Product Development. Knowledge of implementation projects within their domain, thought leadership or experience in leading solutions are the key expectations. Along with the domain lead, will be expected to drive the leadership community of the domain within Oracle service lines.

As a member of the Implementation Success Services team, this person will also be expected to collaborate on cross-domain activities to ensure the Implementation Success Team has a coherent and complete portfolio of solutions for re-use on a project.
