THE OPPORTUNITY

As our Jira/Confluence Community Manager, you’ll be a key player in nurturing and expanding our DevOps community. Your responsibilities will include training, content creation, community engagement, and building relationships within the DevOps space.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Jira and Confluence Coaching and Training: Provide end-user coaching and support on using Atlassian tools like Jira and Confluence. This includes creating spaces, translating projects, using integrations, writing queries, configuring boards, and leveraging Confluence effectively.

  • Assess Jira Integrations: Evaluate our integration needs and propose solutions.

  • Community Building: Develop strategies to grow our community and promote Jira and Confluence.

  • Content Creation: Produce high-quality content (blogs, articles, videos, webinars) to educate and inspire community members.

  • Community Engagement: Actively participate in online forums, mailing lists, and other channels to facilitate discussions and address questions.

  • Partnership Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to establish cross-promotional partnerships.

  • Feedback Collection: Gather insights from community members to improve our products and services.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.

  • Atlassian Certified Professional is a plus.

Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • Experienced in training individuals and teams on Jira and Confluence.

  • 3+ years as a Scrum Master or in a similar role.

  • Scrum Master Professional certification is a plus.

  • Atlassian Certified Professional is a plus.

  • Desirable understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle.

  • Desirable experience in community management within a technical context.

  • Proactive in staying up to date with industry trends.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills.

  • Creative mindset.

  • Data-driven with the ability to analyze metrics.

  • Self-motivated and collaborative.

  • Nice to have some familiarity with DevOps tools (Bitbucket, GitHub, JFrog).

  • Desirable experience with testing tools (Tricentis qTest, Tosca).

  • Proficient in professional English.
