Tarrytown Rehabilitation & Nursing Center Driver in Delaware County, New York

New Rate: (Up to $17/hr)

Shift Hours: 6am - 2:30pm

Overview:

We are a leading healthcare provider and seeking a reliable, caring individual to drive/transport our residents to and from medical appointments, shopping outings, community events and other various gatherings/outings. The ideal candidate will possess a courteous demeanor and assist each resident into and out of the vehicle in a safe manor at each destination.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive all residents to and from various appointments or outings and assist each resident into and out of the vehicle in a safe manor.

  • Maintain a safe driving record according to company guidelines.

  • Report any potentially unsafe conditions to the facility Director.

  • May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

  • Driver's License (Required)

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

  • Customer service: 2 years (Required)

  • US work authorization (Preferred)

Requirements: Must possess the following skill sets to qualify for this position!

  • REQUIREDA clean driving history is required with no major/minor accidents reported in the past 3 years!

  • *Covid 19 Vaccine/Booster, required

  • Must enjoy working with Seniors/Geriatric Community and always have a courteous demeanor!

  • Experience driving seniors, patients, etc. a plus.

  • Should have a good personality & be able to work well with others
