POSITION SUMMARY Serves as the first point of contact for technical support escalation for operations. Responsible for working alongside Manufacturing Engineers supporting technical operations. VALUES Innovation Commitment & Passion Integrity Team & Relationships DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Provide technical support of products, processes, materials, and equipment in order to achieve production goals (i.e., quality, delivery, cost, productivity, and safety) for assigned area Identify and troubleshoot processes, material or equipment problems to minimize production down time and quality issues Aid and monitor the containment of quality issues Work with product development, tooling, and Manufacturing Engineers to introduce new product into production; including working on first article inspections Provide tooling validation; modify existing and develop new tooling and fixtures Program machines; updating routings Revise existing documents, processes, and/or methods to correct or improve processes/product; submit red line drawings to MEs for ECOs or ECRs Work with vendors/suppliers to procure tools and/or supplies as needed Assist in Continuous Improvement (CI) projects, implementing new equipment or processes or improving existing ones Work with departmental customers to improve material quality and delivery Train and provide technical support and/or direction as needed Other duties as assigned ATTRIBUTES Equipment Maintenance Proficiency with Power Tools Ability to Comprehend Blueprints Ability to Operate Computer Aided Design (CAD) Software Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment Problem Sensitivity Analytical Skills Reasoning Skills The target hourly range is $23.00 - $25.00, depending upon qualifications and experience. This position qualifies for a shift differential of $3.00 per hour. Expanded pay ranges may be available for growth and advancement opportunities. In addition to hourly pay, the compensation package also includes eligibility for profit-sharing and monthly bonus opportunity.
