Wayfair Assistant Store Manager in Dedham, Massachusetts

<p><strong>What you’ll do:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Provide an authentic, friendly customer experience that exemplifies our Wayfair commitment to relentless customer focus.</li>
<li>Collaborate with the Store Manager to establish and communicate all critical metrics and expectations within the store. </li>
<li>Coach, develop and lead all aspects of performance, development, safety and recognition for a team of Design Advisors to ensure continuous growth. </li>
<li>Maintain leadership presence to include, effectively managing the floor, driving sales, having the right team in the right place, proper scheduling, ensuring proper opening and closing procedures are performed daily as MOD (Manager on Duty). </li>
<li>Support the Store Manager and team with stockroom organization and supply levels to maximize efficiency, safety and productivity to support sales floor replenishment and omni channel fulfillment.</li>
<li>Utilize sales analytics tools to drive store profitability and growth in a way that supports the success of the overall brand.</li>
<li>Collaborate with Store Manager and Home Office teams during new season planning and execution</li>
<li>Lead and ensure the execution of visual merchandising tasks such as maintaining store’s visual standards, floorsets, window changes, signage placement, lighting installations, wallpapering, etc, as needed</li>
<li>Analyze store results through data, reporting tools; translates data into overall team results by coaching for improvement in overall KPIs and goals. </li>
<li>Communicate regularly with the overall team on key aspects needed in their roles to help drive team engagement, sales, exceptional customer service. </li>
<li>Bring a willingness to share innovative ideas and solutions to continuously improve team operations.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>What you’ll need:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>3+ years of leadership experience involving motivating a team to achieve sales goals</li>
<li>Experience establishing and maintaining a client base </li>
<li>Client centric mindset and strong business acumen</li>
<li>Interior design, furniture or home goods experience preferred</li>
<li>Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills</li>
<li>Proven ability to motivate, influence and inspire yourself and others</li>
<li>Track record of thriving in a fast paced and changing environment</li>
<li>Requires the ability to work a flexible schedule to include morning, afternoon and evening availability any day of the week</li>
</ul>
