Ford Motor Company Manufacturing Engineer (Program Launch & Controls) in Dearborn, Michigan
Launch Engineer will be a member of the Powertrain Manufacturing Engineer - Process Engineering team to support existing crankshaft and connecting rod machining lines in the United States and Canada, and new model launch activities. The key to success in this position is the willingness to learn the CNC controls used and the associated IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be a person committed to continuous learning and continuous improvement.

What you'll be able to do :
Work with Lead engineers to resolve launch issues
Willing to work with PTME Controls Team to ensure compliance with controls standards
Willing to work with Plant engineering teams to support launch
Must be willing to learn PTO engineering applications such as MIDAS and MyQ.
Overtime may be required
Travel may be required (50%+ to PTME sites across S.E. MI, OH and Canada)
Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Engineering
Controls Engineering skills with familiarity with the Siemens Architecture
Launch Experience
On site work required as necessary at locations including Cleveland Engine, Lima Engine, Dearborn Engine, Essex Engine, and Windsor Engine.
Periodic Business Visitor travel to Canada required
Willingness to learn IT infrastructure to support Q-DAS, QLSCM, GPTS and IIoT implementation.
