Job Title: Chassis Controls Software Algorithm Development

Job Description

As a Brake Control Engineer, lead the implementation, verification, and calibration of brake control features and functions to meet vehicle program milestones. You will be responsible for ensuring that development vehicles are fully functional and updated to the latest software levels. Coordinate development, troubleshooting, and software updating activities between multiple engineering teams and manage the migration of feature and functional requirements to new management tools.

Hard Skills

  • Automotive component or subsystem product development tools and processes

  • Engineering specifications, design validation, failure mode analysis, and project management using MS suite

  • Engineering tools & processes

  • Vehicle data collection and analysis (Matlab, Vector CAN tools)

  • Unrestricted and Valid Driver’s License

Soft Skills

  • Strong problem solving and interpersonal skills

  • Motivated self-starter

  • Ability to manage/prioritize multiple assignments

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Dearborn, Michigan and some days remote.
