For information on our international network visit . Job Summary Maintains and repairs equipment, vehicles, and/or facilities used for carrying out the operations. Main Responsibilities Adopt the Company's safety culture, actively support all safety initiatives Support, promote, and practice the Company core values, vision, and mission; follow code of ethics, workplace conduct, safety, and other established policies Use diagnostic equipment, visual inspection, and other tools to diagnose faults or malfunctions to identify required repairs Repair and replace damaged or worn parts Dismantle and reassemble heavy equipment using hoists and hand tools Operate and inspect machines or heavy equipment to diagnose defects Test mechanical products and equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturers' specifications Read and understand operating manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings as vital to ensure proper operation of equipment Install new ignition systems, change/charge batteries, and replace transmissions and other parts Examine protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices on trucks and equipment, and makes adjustments Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment and vehicles Skills High school graduate or GED 3 or more years of experience as a diesel/heavy equipment mechanic preferred Ability to follow verbal and written instructions Ability to write routine reports and correspondence Ability to work independently and exercise good judgment Basic computer skill, including ability to operate mobile device (phone, tablet, etc.) and related applications General Requirements Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) preferred Valid DOT medical card and or ability to acquire Have own Mechanic's tools Physical Requirements Able to lift or move up to 100 pounds Able to stand, walk, sit, reach, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl Able to work in high and sometimes confined spaces Able to work in wet and/or dry conditions and extreme heat and cold Benefits Our company is not only an outstanding place to work, but we also have great benefits too!
