Job Title: Research Associate

Job Description

Seeking a Research Associate scientist to join our team in supporting antibody product development. The successful candidate will actively participate in hands-on lab activities, particularly focusing on mammalian cell culture and antibody-based assays.

Hard Skills

  • Hands on experience with mammalian cell culture

  • Hands on experience with antibody-based assays (Western Blot, ELISA, Immunocytochemistry, Immunohistochemistry)

  • Molecular biology (preferred)

  • Protein expression/purification (preferred)

    Qualifications:

  • BS in life sciences

  • At least 1 years experience at the bench in academia or industry (has to be actual hands on, not just in class / theory)

  • Comfortable with basic data analysis and ability to keep accurate records of work performed

  • At least one year of mammalian cell culture experience and must be fully independent on all aspects of cell maintenance, expansion, preservation, and general handling

  • Experience working with immunoassays (Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, Immunohistochemistry.)

  • Experience with protein purification (gravity flow and FPLC based purification)

  • Experience with protein conjugation

  • Experience working in a GMP environment is a plus but not required

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in DAVIS, California.

Work Environment

The Research Associate will perform bench work in a laboratory setting, collaborating with a team of 5 other professionals at a new site under the guidance of a new scientific director.
