Samples Analyst Manager

Position Overview

Shaw Industries is looking for a Samples Analyst Manager that will provide strategic and tactical leadership for the Sample Analyst team . This position will lead the team's performance efforts specific to the goals in safety, qua lity, and productivity while meeting or exceeding established shipping timelines. The ideal candidate will require a combination of technical and supply chain expertise . It will be extremely important to develop and maintain strategic relationships with Samples Merchandising, Planning, and Distribution along with other internal partners within Channel , Sales , and Financial Services to be successful. This position will be based in Dalton, GA with a hybrid working schedule.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Leads team members utilizing PX (Performance Experience) and drives AX (Associate Experience) within the department.

• Foster an environment of collaboration, while coaching and developing direct and indirect reports.

• Oversee the design and creating of sample packages, ensuring that they accurately represent the samples being produced.

• Develop a comprehensive strategy for creating and distributing sample packages in alignment with channel and sales objectives .

• Oversee the review of sample customer orders and ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of inventory assignments to meet or exceed projected ship ping timelines.

• Track, measure, and effectively communicate throughout the order and shipping process for new product launches, gathering feedback and insights to drive continuous improvement.

• Collaborate with Merchandising Managers, Customer Service, Logistics, Sample Vendors, and Sample Distribution teams to address customer requests for order modifications.

• Partner with Sample Invoicing team to promptly address order modifications necessary complete the invoicing process.

• Prepare and present sample inventory reports as needed.

• Partner with Samples data analytics team to establish and support all KPI’s with in the department .

• Lead business testing for any new system enhancements and train associates through the implementation process.

• Develop new and innovative enhancements to existing systems to improve confidence and efficiency in the overall process.

• Assist in budget planning by providing input on resource requirements and equipment needs.

• Support C hange M anagement efforts by identifying potential challenges and assisting in the development of training material and communication plans.

• Create and maintain SMS procedures for the dep artment .

• Maintain a high standard of professional knowledge, ethics and practices when dealing with customers, suppliers, peers, and other key stakeholders of the company .

  POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• 4-year college degree OR 5 + years' experience in Supply Chain or Samples Re quir ed

• 2+ Years successfully managing / leading a team Preferred

• Knowledge of Supply Chain process es Recommended

  Hybrid Worker Requirements:

• It will be the responsibility of the Analyst Manager to provide a Reliable High-Speed Internet Connection to access Shaw Systems while working from home. Minimum Speed 10mbps/Download; 3mbps/Upload without data limits or restrictions.

• Analyst Managers should have a defined workspace to conduct business with office furniture that meets ergonomic needs and a professional atmosphere.

• Analyst Managers are expected to be available to work during times of inclement weather and emergencies, be open to mandatory overtime, and schedule changes.

• Analyst Managers will need to manage their schedule accordingly when required to participate in on-site meetings.
