Job Summary
The Supplier Quality and Development Director is responsible for:
Supporting the Business Line's overall supplier QDCI performance development
The development and deployment of Supplier Quality and Development best practices in close collaboration with the Procurement excellence.
Leading and develop a highly skilled Supplier Quality and development organization that supports the development of the capability in the sites and business line
Orchestrating the overall Supplier development activities driving performance improvement in quality, deliver and cost across all sites in close cooperation with the Business Line Procurement management team to achieve a highly capable supplier base
Job Responsibilities
Supporting Overall QDCI performance development of the suppliers
Orchestrate supplier Development initiatives cross Business line and lead supplier development activities as assigned by the site(-s)
Develop and deploy processes and tools for Supplier Quality and Development best practices in close collaboration with Procurement Excellence.
Develop the SQE competence requirement, qualifications and support training within the BL
Support for Zero Defect deployment, culture and mindset within BL Procurement and supply base
Responsible for BL escalation related to quality issues and develop and manage strategic supplier relationship
Participate in internal and external industry working groups to develop common quality requirements and expectations on supplier quality development as needed by the BL
Partner the Business line procurement management team in defining the BL procurement strategy, objectives and operational plan and budget for the function to optimize quality, cash flow, profitability and growth

Job Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain Management, or other related fields of study
10+ years of experience from engineering/operations and experience from procurement and / or Supplier Quality
8+ years of experience in Quality or engineering in cooperation with customers and suppliers
2+ years in a leadership role
Deep knowledge in Aerospace quality requirements (e.g AS9100, ISO9000, AS9145, customer and regulatory requirements)
Must be fluent (speaking and reading) the English Language
Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder due to program security clearance requirements and/or SSA requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in quality processes within engineering and design
Experience in continuous improvement
Experience in APQP and NPI
Experienced in Zero Defect deployment, culture and mindset
Knowledgeable of aerospace products, processes and technologies
Demonstrated interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
Ability to lead, coach and mentor highly skilled and experienced direct reports.
Experience and skilled with Microsoft office, and ERP systems
Experience in working internationally
