Synchrony VP, Client Marketing Manager - Travel in Dallas, Texas
Job Description:
Role Summary/Purpose:
As a Client Marketing Manager - Travel, you will be responsible for overall marketing management to support portfolio performance growth for a Cobrand Travel credit card program. You will be a central member of the client team, primarily focused on leading marketing efforts while working in close collaboration with the partner to develop, execute, and refine overall marketing strategies and initiatives. You will act as a thought leader and be knowledgeable with all disciplines of acquisition and lifecycle marketing to support program growth goals. You will take a digital first approach but be heavily grounded in traditional marketing channels. In addition, you will be responsible for working closely with cross-functional teams to optimize customer engagement and deliver a world-class customer journey for the card program.

Essential responsibilities:
Lead key strategic initiatives focused primarily on digital channels to maximize the go-to-market (GTM) strategy in driving new account and sales growth
Close collaboration and strategic alignment with the consumer engagement team responsible for managing digital efforts and existing cardholder engagement opportunities
Collaborate and translate the client's key business objective and priorities into an annual strategic marketing plan including management of the marketing budget process and spend allocation
Lead quarterly forecasting growth drivers, participate in business reviews and key strategic client meetings
Manage creative development working closely with agencies to produce marketing materials, collateral, digital assets and campaign deliverables
Develop acquisition offers, manage value prop, product enhancements and customer journeys
Identify and create strategies for lead generation and conversion to acquire and grow the card program
Knowledgeable in applying targeting and segmentation strategies to drive specific customer behaviors and performance outcomes
Partner closely with analytics, credit, customer engagement & financing teams to closely monitor portfolio performance and drive refinement and enhancements
Apply test & learn methodologies, monitor results and analysis of campaign performance
Be familiar with competitive acquisition offerings, innovation, and industry trends
Be trained and familiar with Synchrony marketing tools and campaign execution process
Perform other tasks as assigned based on business needs
Qualifications / Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or in lieu of degree, high school diploma/GED and 10+ years of marketing experience, preferably in financial services, travel industry or cobrand reward cards
7+ years of omnichannel marketing/client development experience preferably within a regulated industry.
Ability to travel as needed (20%)

Grade/Level: 12
The salary range for this position is 110,000.00 - 185,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.
Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.
Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.
Eligibility Requirements:
You must be 18 years or older
You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months' time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months' time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don't meet the time in position or performance expectations).
