Job Description

The Valet Captain r epresents the hotel at the main entrance by greeting guests in an enthusiastic and courteous manner. Maintains driveway traffic flow to allow main hotel entrance accessibility as well as to ensure ample space for passenger and luggage loading and unloading and offers luggage assistance to all guests .

Responsibilities

  • Provide guests with an exceptional arrival and departure experience, making them feel truly welcome.

  • Engage with guests to deliver superior service.

  • Ensure valet staff are positioned efficiently to enhance the guest experience.

  • Oversee traffic flow at the front of the hotel.

  • Coordinate with Bellpersons to ensure timely luggage delivery and valet service for guest vehicles.

  • Perform a key audit with the valet team at the end of each shift.

  • Maintain the cleanliness of the hotel’s front area.

  • Notify the Front Desk and Guest Services of VIP arrivals when possible.

  • Assist departing guests by loading luggage into cars or taxis.

  • Ensure a clean and organized work area at all times.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Outstanding customer service skills, including a welcoming attitude, the ability to engage with guests, and a knack for making a great first impression.

  • Excellent grooming and body language that align with the Omni brand standards.

  • Strong multitasking ability and the capacity to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Willingness and ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and stand for the duration of an entire shift.

  • Proficiency in driving both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.

  • A clean and excellent driving record.

  • For insurance purposes, candidates must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license.

  • Availability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

  • Must reside within 50 miles of the hotel.

  • Willing to undergo a drug screen and MVR background check.
