Robert Half Sr Financial & Data Analyst in Dallas, Texas

Description

We are recruiting for a Financial Analyst & Data Analyst role in the manufacturing industry based in Dallas, Texas. This role will provide key support in financial reporting, planning, forecasting and business analytics to enhance our financial operations. The successful individual will bridge the gap between finance and technology, ensuring the accuracy of information derived from our financial systems and identifying process improvement opportunities within Finance/Accounting.

Responsibilities:

• Play a central role in the preparation of accurate and timely budgets and forecasts

• Conduct variance analysis, supply chain & logistics performance measurement and comparative analysis

• Support the Finance/Accounting team in the development of a robust control environment

• Deliver accurate, timely and high-quality financial information

• Responsible for in-depth knowledge of the company’s financial system

• Extract and analyze data from the system in support of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and period end close activities

• Utilize Accounting Software Systems and Enterprise Resource Planning for financial tasks

• Handle Capital Expenditure (CapEx) and Expense Reporting processes

• Perform accounting functions and manage budget processes.

Requirements • Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with CapEx management

• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Ability to work with ERP Solutions

• Knowledge of Great Plains (GPAC) software

• Experience with About Time software

• Understanding of Accounting Functions

• Familiarity with Budget Processes

• Experience with Expense Reporting

• Degree in Finance or related field

• Ability to work in a manufacturing industry setting

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

• Knowledge of financial regulations and standards.
