Robert Half Sr. Financial Analyst in Dallas, Texas

Description We are offering an opportunity for a Sr. Financial Analyst in the service industry, based in Dallas, Texas. This role will involve providing financial analysis and insights, supporting the Revenue Director, and contributing to various financial projects. There is an emphasis on strong communication skills and a drive for professional growth.

Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the Revenue Director and SVP of Finance & Audit, providing them with regular updates and insights

• Utilizing Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SQL and other tools for financial analysis and reporting

• Proactively identifying anomalies and raising questions to leadership

• Working on various financial metrics, including ROI’s, KPI’s, etc.

• Utilizing skills in CapEx, CRM, Data Mining Techniques, ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, ERP Solutions, About Time, Accounting Functions, Budget Processes, Expense Reporting, Finance, Forecasting, Budgeting, Financial Modeling, Pivot Table, Excelsius, Excel VBA, Excel Formulas, VLOOKUP, Microsoft Excel for various financial tasks and analysis

• Assisting in the development of financial models and forecasts

• Supporting the budgeting process, including planning, tracking, and variance analysis

• Conducting financial analysis and providing recommendations for decision making. Requirements • Proficiency in financial analysis and financial modeling

• Extensive experience with CapEx, CRM, and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Knowledge and understanding of Data Mining Techniques and ERP Solutions

• Familiarity with accounting software 'About Time'

• Proficiency in Accounting Functions and Budget Processes

• Experience in Expense Reporting and Finance

• Ability to execute Forecasting and Budgeting tasks effectively

• Expertise in Financial Modeling

• Proficiency in using Pivot Table, Excel VBA, Excel Formulas, and VLOOKUP function

• Experience in Microsoft Excel and Excelsius software

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field

• Relevant professional certifications will be a plus

• Prior experience in a similar role in the service industry.
