Robert Half Sr. Compensation Analyst in Dallas, Texas

Description

Our downtown Dallas client is seeking a Sr. Compensation Analyst for a 4 to 6 month engagement. 100% in the office. Higher education industry. As a Sr. Compensation Analyst, you will be conducting job analysis, organizational studies, extensive field audits, job specification development, pay plan preparation and administration, among other compensation-related responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct job analysis, organizational studies, and extensive field audits to understand the current compensation structure.

• Develop job specifications and prepare pay plans based on the results of the analysis.

• Maintain an in-depth understanding of federal, state, and local laws and ordinances governing compensation.

• Apply and interpret office policies and procedures related to compensation.

• Utilize Microsoft Office tools, including Excel and Word, to create spreadsheets or other electronic media to support research and recommendations.

• Use initiative and creativity to solve problems in the most effective and efficient manner.

• Gather, correlate, and analyze facts and propose solutions.

• Prepare clear, concise, and comprehensive reports detailing findings and recommendations.

• Establish project timelines and meet objectives while keeping stakeholders informed of project status and/or deviations from original expectations.

• Work on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

• Develop a deep understanding of quantitative and qualitative research methods.

• Stay updated with human resource laws, regulations, and best practices.

• Conduct salary survey development, distribution, and analysis; complete external salary survey requests; analyze and compare salary data from a variety of agency and institutional sources; and make appropriate recommendations.

• Review compensation data to evaluate the relative impact on salaries of the performance management program.

• Conduct and analyze individual job audits and/or group classification surveys.

• Prepare position descriptions, audit or survey reports and position evaluations, and recommend classification actions.

• Provide recommendations concerning the development of policies, procedures, and improvements to compensation processes.

Requirements • Must possess a comprehensive understanding of Qualitative Analysis

• Proficiency in handling Annual Compensation matters is required

• Experience with Compensation Surveys is essential

• Should have knowledge of Compensation & Benefits

• Experience with Compensation - Executive is a must

• Familiarity with HR Law is crucial

• Prior experience in a similar role as a Sr. Compensation Analyst is highly desirable

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary

• Knowledge of industry-standard software and tools is beneficial

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are expected

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team is necessary

• Must demonstrate a high degree of professionalism and ethical conduct.
