ManpowerGroup SQL DBA Technical Support Engineer in Dallas, Texas

Join our clients dynamic team as a SQL DBA Technical Support Engineer and leverage your expertise in database management and cloud services to solve complex technical issues. In this role, you'll provide top-notch support for SQL databases and Azure cloud solutions, ensuring the smooth operation of mission-critical systems.

Job Title: Technical Support Engineer

Contract Duration: 18 Months

Location: 2-3 Days Onsite in Dallas, TX; Charlotte, NC; Redmond, WA

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administration support for SQL databases and Azure cloud-based services.

  • Handle production support with hands-on database experience.

  • Maintain complex database solutions, including RDMS technologies and SQL language.

  • Participate in case triage meetings and share knowledge to develop efficient customer solutions.

  • Manage customer communication with professionalism and timeliness, aiming to meet KPI targets.

  • Work both independently and as part of a team, managing a diverse workload.

  • Make quick decisions on escalating tickets when necessary.

  • Use data collection tools to analyze problems, determine root causes, and develop solutions.

Must-Have Skills:

  • 5+ years in Technical Support roles.

  • Proficiency with MySQL, Postgres, and MariaDB.

  • Basic understanding of Azure SQL Services and Azure SQL Managed Instance.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Logical problem-solving approach.

  • Ability to handle incidents and manage customer relationships.

  • Passion for technology and a lifelong learning mindset.

Good-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience supporting Azure or other cloud-based solutions.

  • Microsoft certifications in data platform or Azure technologies.

  • Troubleshooting experience with Open-Source Databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL.

  • Basic networking, storage, and platform troubleshooting skills.
