What you'll do

  • Ensure Compliance : Verify that all pre-employment documentation and requirements meet industry regulations, company policies, and legal standards.

  • Coordination : Collaborate with Recruiting teams, Legal, Recruiting Vendors (RPOs) and Operational teams to gather and review necessary pre-employment documents and certifications and facilitate speedy, compliant clearances.

  • Conduct Audits : Perform regular audits of pre-employment files and processes to ensure accuracy and adherence to compliance standards.

  • Engage with Stakeholders : Act as a point of contact for key stakeholders throughout the pre-employment process, addressing questions, providing guidance on compliance requirements, and ensuring a smooth experience.

  • Hiring Event Support : Be available to assist with onsite hiring events. Coordinate pre-employment process with candidates ensuring accuracy and efficiency of all requirements.

  • Update Process Documents : Assist in updating and implementing company policies and procedures related to pre-employment compliance.

  • Stay Informed : Keep up to date with industry regulations and changes to ensure ongoing compliance.

All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications - Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, or a related field OR previous experience in Human Resources, Pre-Employment or Recruiting functions

  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Advanced proficiency in all Microsoft Applications with an emphasis on Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables)

  • Must be willing and able to travel for hiring events up to 25% of the time

Preferred Qualifications - Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems, preferably SuccessFactors

  • Experience in Talent Acquisition in large, high volume, global organizations

  • Current or prior experience working with union organizations

  • Familiarity with federal aviation regulations and other relevant compliance standards is highly desirable

  • Experience with pre-employment adjudication processes

  • Previous experience in the aviation industry

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

  • Experience with Microsoft Suite products with an emphasis on Excel & Teams

  • Experience working with Tableau or comparable data visualization software

  • Strong communication skills both written and oral with ability to understand how to adjust communications to the audience

  • Ability to handle sensitive/ confidential information

  • Build and maintain synergetic relationships with business partners and leaders
