We are in search of a diligent Compliance Analyst to join our team in the Oil & Gas industry based in Dallas, Texas. The role will involve working in Regulatory Affairs and will require an individual with a strong focus on reviewing and analyzing historical financial and operational records, particularly those related to assets. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Build and explain complex spreadsheets

• Conduct research on internal and external platforms such as agency websites and

• Subscription systems like SAP, HData, and CSC.

• Articulate project findings in a clear and understandable way.

• Blend of audit, compliance, and accounting needed.

• Strong communication and accounting skills, experience with the MicroSoft family of products, and Adobe.

• Additional experience preferred:

• Experience with multiple sets of books (Tax, GAAP, and Regulatory)

• Write-downs on one set of books but not a second set & permanent differences with control features for the same

• Outside charges and invoicing

• Corporate cost allocations

• Revenue systems, especially Quorum

• M& A activity and after the fact due diligence

• Traffic Unit Studies for the transportation & logistics industry (This can translate to our gas revenue graphs and BBL mile or mcf mile studies but need to discuss this further.)

• Regulatory experience

  Requirements • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Regulatory Affairs within the Oil & Gas industry

• Proven ability to conduct Regulatory Audits, ensuring compliance and identifying potential areas of improvement

• Strong understanding and experience with Regulatory Compliance and its application in an Oil & Gas context

• Ability to generate accurate Regulatory Reports, reflecting the compliance status and potential risks

• Experience with FERC (Federal Energy Regulatory Commission) regulations and their implications on the Oil & Gas industry

• CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification is preferred

• Proficiency in SAP software for managing business operations and customer relations

• Advanced skills in MS Excel for data analysis and report generation

• Strong Analytical Skills to interpret complex regulatory information and make informed decisions

• Ability to utilize Analytical Reasoning to solve problems related to regulatory compliance.
